Yoga, Icebergs and Whale Watching, Let's Explore the Beauty of Newfoundland

  • This Retreat is in Newfoundland (map)

Stacey L.A. Sinclair and Justine Hoang are beyond excited to explore the beauty of their own backyard. This Retreat will be offered at a unique facility. An old church, transformed to host events and retreats. It’s located in a quaint cove where we can easily venture out to explore icebergs and whales.

The facility has gorgeous wide open spaces, a great kitchen for communal cooking and sharing of the meals. There is plenty of room to stretch out in our yoga classes and many cozy areas for your rest and rejuvenate time.

One of my favorite parts of the retreats we offer is the community cooking. Each day the tribe will come together and share in the task of creating healthy, nutritious, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free meals that are infused with love. Meal time is partnered with deep meaningful conversations, mindfulness and unity.

Stacey L.A. Sinclair, Spiritual and Wellness Guide, is blazing a trail around the world sharing and teaching Gurumatha Amma’s teachings on Universal Love, Self Love, and Wellness. Many think yoga is only for exercise, to be flexible and to wear athletic clothes. Stacey shines a light on what True Yoga is, it’s many paths, branches, benefits and that there is something for everyone. She wholeheartedly encourages people to just give yoga and her teachings a try and watch their life transform.

Stacey is all about community, unity, oneness and helping people to love their life, how to thrive versus just survive, how to follow their passions and live a life on purpose.

Justine Hoang has been studying extensively with Sri Dharma Mittra for the past ten years, completing the 500-hour and 800-hour advanced teacher certification programs with him and acting as his teaching assistant at several prominent yoga festivals.

She teaches locally and often teaches in the US and Europe. Her knowledge of Dharma Yoga is complemented by her training accreditations in a number of other yoga lineages, including Ashtanga Yoga, Hatha Raja, Acro Yoga Montreal, and Akhanda Yoga. Her usual retreats are more of a Yoga Immersion as she packs the days full with her teachings and knowledge, so we will get a taste of that as well as time to play and explore Acro Yoga.

Justine is active in the kirtan, devotional singing, scene. Together with her band, the OMBuds, she seeks out opportunities to spread messages of love, light, consciousness, and peace through mantra and music.

Our days by the ocean will be full but not in the sense of over packed with things to do and learn. The days are designed to offer just the right amount of what you need so you can rest, recharge, play, explore, and connect in unity, and in community.

Each day we will dive into yoga, the many branches and paths and we’ll explore meditation, mindfulness, wellness, and all sorts of teachings you don’t get in a typical yoga class. We’ll expand on what True Yoga is and how this type of a practice can transform your life.

Stacey is also excited to share, Ilchi Lee’s Tao Teachings, a beautiful practice that compliments yoga. Tao techniques are super fun, easy and very effective to connect and feel your energy body, your nadi's, meridians, chakras, and for you to become aware of your energy and to know how to refuel it.

Most have hot heads and cold bellies which pose all sorts of issues. These techniques reverse that flow so you’ll have a cool, calm, clear mind and a warm, happy belly.

We will learn to talk and communicate with our body. We’ll explore heartfelt conversations with your soul so you may connect with your Divine Life Purpose and have immense gratitude for your body, your house, your temple.

At the beautiful Ochre House, there is space to sleep eleven students, if everyone sleeps in their own bed. Space is limited to 10-15 students so reserve your retreat journey with us now. Namaste,

Much Love & Light from Stacey & Justine
